DESIGNED FOR THIS LAND.
Wine country properties are their own thing — clay soils that swell and crack, defensible-space setbacks, and outdoor spaces that are as much of the property as the house. We design for it specifically, not around it.
Step 01
Every great landscape starts with understanding your vision. We meet with you on-site to discuss your goals, evaluate your property, and identify important factors like drainage, grading, sun exposure, existing landscaping, and how you want to use your outdoor space.
Step 02
Using everything we learned during the consultation, we create a personalized landscape design tailored to your property, style, and budget. Every element is thoughtfully planned to balance beauty, functionality, and long-term sustainability.
Step 03
Before installation begins, we walk through the design with you, make any necessary refinements, and finalize material selections, plant choices, hardscape finishes, and the project schedule. This ensures everyone is aligned before work starts.
Step 04
Our experienced team transforms your design into reality using quality craftsmanship and premium materials. Once installation is complete, we perform a detailed walkthrough with you to ensure every detail meets your expectations and provide guidance on maintaining your new landscape for years to come.

Design typically takes 1 to 3 weeks — from our first walk-through to a plan you approve. Build time depends on scope: a targeted project like a front garden refresh runs 1 to 2 weeks on-site; a full backyard redesign runs 2 to 4 weeks; a whole-property build can take 1 to 3 months. We give you a real timeline in writing before we break ground, and if a schedule change is coming, you'll hear it from us — not guess.
Design & build projects here typically run from around $5,000 for a targeted redesign to $75,000+ for a full property build; larger estate projects go higher. Design fees are usually credited against the build if you move forward with us. We give you an itemized, honest price after we walk the property — no vague ranges, no surprise change orders. Financing is available for larger projects.
We design for wine country properties specifically, meaning drought-smart plantings, fire-wise layouts, native and Mediterranean palettes, and outdoor living spaces built to work with this soil and climate. That includes full property redesigns, entry gardens, backyards, hardscape-integrated outdoor rooms, pool surrounds, and estate grounds. What we don't do is cookie-cutter suburban landscaping — this land deserves better.
Yes, both are baked into every design we do here. Fire-wise means defensible-space setbacks, careful plant choices in the ignition zones, and hardscape breaks that actually work. Drought-smart means efficient irrigation, native and low-water plantings, and a landscape that looks lush without fighting the season. In wine country, these aren't optional add-ons; they're how you protect the property.
Yes, most of our projects involve an existing landscape in some form. Mature trees, established plantings, and existing hardscape can all be worked into a new design.
