Layout & Material Selection
We lay out the hardscape and help you choose the material — paver, flagstone, DG, or natural stone — based on how it wears, how it looks on your property, and how it'll hold up here. You'll approve the layout, materials, and timeline before we break ground.
Step 03
Excavation, Base & Install
Our own crew builds it start to finish with no subcontractors. Proper excavation, compacted sub-base, clean edging, and tidy work every day. This is where the job either lasts 20 years or fails in 3. We build for the former.
Step 04
Walkthrough & Guarantee
We walk the finished project with you, clean up completely, and stand behind the work with our workmanship guarantee. If anything we installed fails due to our workmanship within 12 months, we'll make it right — no argument.

How long does a hardscape project take?
Most single-feature projects — a patio, a walkway, a fire pit take 3 to 7 days on-site once we break ground. Larger multi-part projects (patio plus walls plus fire feature) typically run 2 to 4 weeks. We give you a real timeline in writing before we start, and if we're going to miss a day, you'll hear from us, not guess.
How much does a patio or hardscape project cost in Sonoma County?
It depends on the material and the square footage, but most patios and walkways here run in the range of a few thousand up to $30,000+ for larger natural-stone or multi-feature installs. We give you an honest, itemized price in writing after we walk your property. No vague ranges, no surprise change orders. Financing is available for larger projects.
Which hardscape materials do you install?
Pavers, flagstone, decomposed granite (DG), natural stone, poured concrete, and stone veneer. We help you pick the one that fits how you'll use the space, how it'll look on your property, and how it'll hold up in this soil and climate. Not just what's cheapest or trendiest.
Why do patios crack or walkways heave, and how do you prevent it?

If the sub-base isn't excavated deep enough, compacted properly, and drained, the clay soil moves underneath, and everything on top follows. We over-build the base on every job, that's what the workmanship guarantee is standing on.
Can you tie into existing hardscaping?
Yes. Most of what we do fits into or replaces the existing landscape. A new patio in an established yard, a walkway connecting spaces, a wall to shape a slope. We plan the tie-in so it looks intentional, not tacked on.
